ISA Activity Six (Waste to Wealth and Charity)
Title of Activity: Waste to Wealth and Wear.
Subjects: Science, Art, Social studies
Teachers: Adeboye Chidinma, Mr. Suberu, Mrs. Olayemi, Miss Elizabeth, Miss Nifemi, Miss Bimbo.
Ages: 6 (55 students) Grade 2
Grace School student will carry out sorting/ segregation of Plastic bottle waste. Then they will sort out the waste (plastic) to be sold to a recycling company to generate income, which can be given to an orphanage or used in school for stationery.
This project helps to achieve the SDG 12, 11 and 8 goals which talks about responsible consumption.
1. Plastic Recycling expert presentation to Grace School students, as a campaign to sensitize them on the usefulness of waste and the advantages of recycling and reuse to our environment.
2. Grace School Students create something useful from waste and explains the material source. Students work hands-on Christmas tree
project to instill values like care for the environment, teamwork,
and active citizenship and help students connect with science (materials
and environment), art (craft-work), and social studies (community and
responsibility).
3. Morning Hall Assembly of Grace students share their Environmental Awareness to
help other students understand the importance of reducing, reusing, and
recycling waste. It also encourages creative thinking by seeing value in
discarded items.
Paper clothing designs and modelling session would flow after the handcraft. End products sold generate income for Charity.

Title of Activity Helping Hands-Charity:
Collaborative activities by Grade 1 SDG Goal 1 (No Poverty), create a Charity depth that manages in Grace Schools with students and Grade 2 Waste to Wealth
Ages: 5 (50 students). Grade 1
Teachers involved: Mary Abu, Queen Ahmed, Faith Okonkwo, Victoria Oke
Sustainable Development goals (SGS1) 'No Poverty ' focuses on eradicating extreme poverty, reduce poverty especially for developing countries and making sure everybody get access to basic needs like food, shelter, health care, education and social protection.
1. Grace School students work display: helping hands Art Day where pupils draw or paint pictures showing people helping.
2. Grace Schools student go Excursion to Bale of Mercy orphanage home: A visit to orphanage home provides opportunity to donate proceeds from collaborative for a donation.
3. Grace School students Assembly presentation: Pupils teaching the essence of Charity work in the community. And give examples of lives of people who changed due to Charity of others helping people in need.
4. Grace school students Setting up Charity system: A charity department will be set up in Grace schools.
